Let’s kick things off with some heavy hitters.
1. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
[Show eerie landscapes, Sam Porter Bridges in action, new gear trailers]
First up, Hideo Kojima is back with Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. The first game was wild, weird, and walking. This sequel looks like it’s cranking up the action. Expect bigger maps, all-new gadgets, and more ways to beat the odds. Plus, your skills level up based on what you actually do — if you like off-road hiking, you get more stable. Yes, like Skyrim, only weirder.
Release date: June 26th, 2025.
2. Ghost of Yō
[Show cinematic teaser, flashes of new protagonist Atsu, bright landscapes]
Set way after Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yō drops us into a fresh story with all new faces. Instead of revisiting old haunts, it’s a whole anthology series now. Take down a list of baddies, trek across a richer and more colorful world, and enjoy side quests that got a major upgrade. The visuals — wow. If you love sweeping samurai drama, this one’s for you.
Out October 2025.
3. Satos
[Show Housemarque logo, moody sci-fi visuals, bits of story trailer]
Housemarque, the folks behind Returnal, are at it again. Satos is a third-person roguelike shooter but with a twist. This time, some upgrades actually stick between runs, so every defeat makes you stronger. You play as Arjent Dra, searching a lost colony for answers. And yes, this is the one starring Rahul Kohli. Look out for gameplay reveals next year and mark your calendars for 2026.
4. Marvel’s Wolverine
[Show cinematic teaser, quick flashes of Wolverine’s claws, city at night]
Insomniac Games is keeping busy. First Spider-Man, now Wolverine. It’s third-person, action-packed, and full of attitude. Not many details yet, except it’s about time we saw some gameplay. If their track record means anything, this will be a must-play for superhero fans. No release window yet, so settle in — this one’s still cooking.
5. Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet
[Show space art, bounty hunter action, moody music cues]
Naughty Dog breaks out of their comfort zone with Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Think Cowboy Bebop vibes mixed with sci-fi mystery. You play Jordan, a bounty hunter stranded on a planet cut off from the rest of the galaxy. There’s a bigger focus on melee combat, deeper themes, and the soundtrack slaps — Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are on it. Expect a more open-ended style than previous Naughty Dog games. Release date? Probably late 2026 or 2027, but it sounds worth the wait.

Alright, moving to games that stick to PlayStation and PC.
6. Lost Soul Aside
[Show combat clips, rushing swordplay, big combo attacks]
Lost Soul Aside is a flashy action RPG with huge combos, instant weapon swaps, and a story about saving your sister — and the world, of course. The visuals turn heads, and the combat looks buttery smooth. PS5 and PC get it first: August 29th, 2025.
7. Ballad of Antares
[Show huge mystical beasts, solo and co-op gameplay shots, bright fantasy art]
Here’s a free-to-play action RPG where you fight giant creatures to restore the land. Choose your class, play solo, or bring friends for three-player co-op. It’s not fully open world, but you’ll explore big handcrafted regions. Still waiting on a set date, but it should land in 2025.
8. Fairgames$
[Show quick cuts of heist action, urban backdrops, treasure hauls]
Ever wanted to rob billionaires in style? Fairgames$ lets you do just that. It’s a competitive heist game full of high-stakes loot. Think modern Robin Hood with a bit of trouble behind the scenes: development delays, leadership shake-ups. When will it drop? No one knows. Will we ever play it? Honestly — maybe. If it shows up, expect loud, wild multiplayer fun.
9. Where Winds Meet
[Show eye-catching Chinese martial arts combat, open fields, mythic bosses]
Step into a legendary Chinese fantasy with Where Winds Meet. You get real martial arts, big leaps, wild swordplay, even fans as weapons. Face off against mythical creatures. The game world reacts to your decisions. Already out in China, so worldwide launch can’t be far off. Keep an eye out for PS5 and PC in 2025.
10. Phantom Blade Zero
[Show high-speed duels, dramatic cinematic, kung fu moves]
More martial arts action, but this time with a punk edge. Phantom Blade Zero lets you play as Soul, an elite assassin cursed with only 66 days to live. The combat takes a page from Bruce Lee movies, with wild fights and crazy combos. It’s not a giant open world, but there’s plenty to explore. Look for it on PS5 and PC in 2025.
11. Sword of the Sea
[Show serene desert landscapes, surfing on a magic sword, emotional musical cues]
Let’s end on a calmer note. Sword of the Sea comes from the team behind Journey, Abzû, and The Pathless. Glide across sand and ruins on a flying sword. The art style is stunning, the music is beautiful, and the experience promises to be moving — all without saying much at all. Slated for 2025, this one will tug at your heart.
